Why I Joined Fire/EMS

In the beginning as a hobby. The chief at the time recruited me to do tanker shuttles to free up seasoned firefighters for fireground operations. I then got nosy and interested. lol

Why I Love Fire/EMS

Laughing in private at the foolish things people do that costs them big big bucks. In addition, I am driven strangely by spite in this crazy world. People die and are injured on a daily basis and many times there is nothing that can be done to save the lives and property at stake. Yet, I feel Garth Brooks worded it best when he sang, "I do this so this world will know that it will not change me."

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Lacking participation, pushy older people trying to push for the old status quo. Other things I can add later. LOL
