About Me:

I started as a volunteer firefighter with Indian Lake on a fluke but very glad I did! I am now a Capt with Indian Lake. Indian Lake Fire Department got me pointed in the direction of my career in EMS. The deciding factor of me going into EMS was the first fatal car accident I responded too. Ever since then I've wanted to be in EMS. I've been a member of ILFD for a little over 9 years. I started my EMS career about 6-7 years ago working with Cassopolis Area Ambulance Service, they went out of business and now LifeCare covers that area which I work full time for. I also worked for Dowagiac Ambulance Service for about a year and a half until they became financially unstable and pretty much went 'belly up', I then went back to LifeCare fulltime and very happy I did.
