Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I had always been fascinated with the fire service. Not only the physically demanding aspect, but also the sense of pride and tradition that every firefighter feels. I knew, from the moment I crawled into my first structure, this is what I wanted to do the rest of my life. No other career can offer the satisfaction that a firefighter goes home with everyday.
