Hello friends!!!I have just joined this forum and am very grateful to be linked to all of you. I am curious to know if anyone here is interested in patch collecting? I have been collecting for over 30 years and have met many good friends through this hobby. The conversations I have with sisters and brothers from around the world who have and are serving are very comforting. We all need to stay in touch to vent and share. About Me:
I retired in 2013 after being diagnosed with PTSD and severe depression in 2012. I tried continuing in EMS by working in the office setting. Work ran out and I was forced to retire.
I still serve as the Honour Guard Commander, I maintaining my training to continue teaching for the Heart Foundation. I am a board member on the Canadian Paramedic Memorial Foundation, we are working to establish a memorial in the Nation's Capital for Paramedics.
