I've spent all my days with the city of columbia. I did one year of volunteering and have 4 paid years. For the last three years I have had the privilege of being a member of the city's heavy rescue company no. 1.
My Training:
I have a number of rescue certifications, from con space, rope technician, industrial rope technician, swift water technician, swift water boat operator, trench rescue technician, FEMA building collapse specialist, vehicle extrication, hazmat technician, firefighter I & II, rescuing the rescuer, RIT operations, EVDT, pump operations, 3310 rope rescue, NIMS-ICS For the Fire Service and there could be a few more that I'm missing.
About Me:
I like many others in this profession absolutely love the job. I have been a member of our state's regional search and rescue team and find nothing more enjoyable than learning more and more about the fire service every shift and every day.
