Why I Joined Fire/EMS
After seeing an EMS crew respond to a heart attack call I felt overwhelmed at how little I knew about first aid let alone CPR. I watched that crew in total amazement and knew that I never wanted to feeI useless again. I joined the volunteer EMS in our county and started training immediately. I then joined our volunteer Fire Dept. The rest, as they say, is history! It has been a long road, with lots of hills, twists, and turns, but it has been an adventure, one that I will always cherish.
