My name is Chris. I am 26 years old. I am a Firefighter EMT-B. I work hard, train hard, and play hard. I am dedicated to the Fire/EMS system in my community. I want to do everything the best that I can, learn from my mistakes, and show others the way to be. I am by no means perfect, as perfection is not obtainable. However the drive to learn more work fast but smart is in my blood. It's what I do. I am always on the run, doing one thing or another. I am married, have 0 children. 3cats and 1 dog who thinks its a cat. If you would like to know anything else, or want my two cents worth on something just let me know. :0)
Day Job:
EMT Basic for AMR Lexington, KY
Relationship Status:
Married
Why I Joined Fire/EMS
When I was around 2 I fell with a glass and almost cut my hand off. EMS responded and took me to the hospital. I knew this story growing up and was reminded of it by the scar from the 30 or so stitches I received. When I turned 18 it struck me that if no one had responded the out come could have been tragic. I then decided to get into EMS. I have always been fascinated with the science of fire. I am hungry for knowledge. I want to know it understand it, and most of all show my neighbors how to respect it. And when that moment comes, I want to tame it and put it back into its cage.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
It's in the blood.
