Started in 1980 as a volunteer for Hueytown FD, worked for A&A Ambulance Services, First paid department was 1993 Cahaba Heights Fire District, left in 1995 for Forestdale Fire District, became volunteer Asst. Chief for the Town of Brookside, worked fill in for the cities of Adamsville and Graysville. A 2 year stretch with Regional Paramedical Services in Jasper Al. Started with Minor Heights Fire District in 1992. Currently in my 22 th. year at Forestdale and my 16th. at Minor. I worked my way to Lt. at Forestdale and through the ranks to Chief at Minor.

My Training:

Fire officer III, Fire Instructor III, Haz-mat Specialist, various rescue certifications, EMT-Paramedic

About Me:

I am married with three children, two sons Andy 21 and Matthew 12 one daughter Sara 6. My wife of 23 years Melinda is a RN and EMT-II. I served as a Minister to Students with Forestdale Baptist Church six years.
