My Training:

Went though basic 36 hour trainging, and now getting ready to start my Firefighter 1 classes in May, followed by Firefighter 2 classes. My goal is to complete all classes then head to the academy if I get hired into a full-time fire position.

About Me:

I've been around fire fighting my whole life, my father has been on the Vanlue fire department for 25 years now. I used to ride along for calls while i was growing up. Not that it was expected of me, but when i was 18 a week after i graduated high school i was put on the department as a probationary fire fighter. I've seen things that i never wanted to see, things that noone should ever have to see. But that's life, it happens and most of the time for the worst in our case and fire/ems. I love being on the fire department and it's like my second family!

I work Maintenance at Bridgestone APM

Married

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

My father was a huge reason. He's been the chief for 15 years or so. He's helped me to get through some rough incidents that he has been around more so than myself.

The adrenaline and to help my community and others.
