Why I Joined Fire/EMS

i watched a boy my age fall when i was in 4th grade. my grandfather was capt of fd and person responsible for fd getting an ambulance. i looked up to him and what men like him did. i've been a asst. chief and captain for the last 6 with the Rutland Volunteer FD.
