My Training:

I am taking the 2 year program at Lake Area Tech in Watertown, SD. The first semester starts out with EMT training & education which obviously leads to certification! 2nd semester first year we start Paramedic! 2nd year 1st semester,we finish up paramedic and prepare ourselves for the national registry test. We also start Firefighting I, Hazardous Materials & Operations. 2nd semester we take firefighting II and ARFF.

About Me:

I am a small person with a big Heart! I have plenty to offer and much to learn. I may be small but I am strong. I was a gymnast in high school and haven't stopped working out! So don't doubt me! I know when to quit or if I'm not capable of doing it and hand it over to someone stronger than me. I am always on the go with still lots of energy, you'd I would have burned off by now.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I played with fire when I was little and was always interested in it. Almost started our lawn on fire, oops.
With whats happened in my family, I've wanted to be able to save people, and instead of being a counselor which didn't seem up my alley I looked towards fire/ems which is what i saw up my alley!
