Why I Joined Fire/EMS

Initially started with the Bureau of Land Management as a wildland firefighter with the Upper Colorado Interagency Fire Management. While working full time in the summers with them the winters where taken up with a volunteer dept. In Oct 2007 I change services and became a full time Firefighter/EMT with Grand Valley Fire Protection Dist. As you can tell I just enjoy the fire service and couldn’t think of a better career.
