Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I had an accident awhile ago that left me partially blind in my left eye, 911 was called amd firefighters where the first ones to show up, I had a good conversation with 4 of the guys and it seemed like a cool idea to do, but i was 16, when i was 17 the local fire station had posted it was looking for new members, and i applied just before my 18th birthday, and they accepted me from my first day meeting them. Best decision i ever made
