I am 16 years of age and I want to follow in my father's footsteps, sorta. As listed above, my family is mostly in the fire company.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

My uncle is the chief of my fire company, my cousin is the assistant chief, my grandfather is the chief of fire police, and my cousin just joined us. My father was also part of the fire company but he passed away, going on 7 years now (he didn't die in the line of duty). Also, my mother, grandmother, aunt, and 4 cousins are in the ladies auxiliary.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

It really brings me close to my friends at the firehouse and they are always there for me when I need them for anything.
