Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I joined the fire service to give back to a small community that kept me safe as a child. I had previously left the small town to move out west. After living in multiple places to include Utah, Colorado, North Dakota, Texas, Florida, and Louisiana I decided to move back to the small town in which I grew up in. And to this day I am still there.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

I love the fact that the day to day "Routine" Is not Routine at all. It is always a different scenario.

Currently the top issue is lack of communications. Aside from that things can improve quickly.
