About Me:
I became a Volunteer about 2 years ago because my son worked on the department and I wanted to help when I could. I went to my 1st. big fire the 2ed. month and was hooked. I have tried to get as much training as I could with my regular jog and want to become a full time paid person when we get an opening at our dept.

I try to keep up with as much in the nations firefighters as I can and use this information as a learning tool.

We are actually at a Warehouse that its on fire, its not a training facility, and yes we have a low budget,
It’s not a drill, we actually work this way most of the time, we don’t have enough equipment for everyone.
We really put our self in lot of dangerous situations.
Most of the time, we try getting donations from other departments or countries, but we have 80% of our guys with out equipment, so when ever we get something new ;
We try giving them out the best way we can, but its ussually not much.
