bob, no I dont work for AMR. I agree that private EMS employees arent paid very well ect..., my point it is that threating to strike, drives down the public preception of all EMS providers. The general public prob doesnt know the difference between a private and town service. They know they call 911, EMS comes. thats it. I have friends that work for AMR and I have an idea of what the issues where. I also read that some of the numbers were wrong, not a 1000 employees but closure to 400? Fallon chose no union instead of who ever AMR has....what does that say? about the strength of your union? I am happy that is was resolved in the employees favor, I think it could have been gone about a different way thats all.
