Well my names Ben but im known to most as Chappy. Been in New Zealand for nearly 20 months (moved form the U.K.) Joined the fire service at Silverdale and been there for over a year now, probably one of the best things i've done. Finishing my last year at college, hopefulli go on to uni afterwards. If you wana know more just ask =]

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

Came to New Zealand knowing no-one and the truck happend to come past our house, they spoke to me and my dad and we joined up cos we thort it would be awesome, and its turned out to be just that.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

Its awesome! Great way to meet people and make friends. Feels good to help the community i live in to, giving something back.
