- Why I Joined Fire/EMS
- I had a desire to give back to my community instead of taking all the time like some do. I think people that have the ability to do this should. If everyone became a taker and never volunteered their time, then who would put out fires, and extricate people from cars and do the things that firemen do? I enjoy the brotherhood/sisterhood that comes with being a member of such a great organization.

- The feeling of making a difference (hopefully positive) in the outcome of people lives that I know and people that I have never even met before.

The Miller Warren Memorial Firefighter Competition 2007

We are having the competition in downtown Plymouth, NC on the water front on October 6th, 2007. There are many events such as Tuff Man, Extrication Team Competition, Truck Judging, Gear donnin race, command post, Bucket brigade, Hose coupling race and Tug-O-War.
