About Me:

I am retired from Fire Department after a total of 40 years of service, 6 as a call man and 34 as a fulltime Fire Fighter. I am married for 47 years, have four married daughters who have blessed my wife Jeanne and I with 8 grandchildren. I am co-founder and President of the "1907 Fire Society" which was organized in October of 2008. We purchased a 1925 ALF pumper which was originally from Old Orchard Beach. The main purpose of the Society is to eventually build a Museum for the Old Orchard Beach Fire Department.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

Recruited by a friend who was a Lt. in Call Force, Joined fulltime staff 3 years later, work in town, hours were convenient (24/48) liked challenges and service to community.
