Why I Joined Fire/EMS

my great grandfather was a batt. cheif in the city of buffalo i dont know how many he was there. My father was also a volunteer at the West end hose company #6 in Depew for a number of years and i joined because i remember as a child the rush i got when my fathers pager went off knowing he was going to help somebody in there time of need and i guess i always wanted to be able to do that, and when i was old enough to do that i joined the Depew Fire Department, and it is the greatest thing i have ever done in my life and i will never give it up. i have had more traning and done more in my life with the fire department then i could have ever thought possible....
