Andrew, Welcome to the FF Nation. I am glad you dropped in to join the group. Dont be shy. There is lots to do, read and be involved with. Your participation and involvement is important to us all. Takes a bit to kinda figure it all out but you will be glad you did. Have fun and look around.
Prior active duty soldier, 4 years in the infantry. Proud to be a firefighter now, I dont do it for myself. I do it for those who may need it one day. Life has shown me death in more ways imaginable, and I want to be able to look at what I did in my life and know that I made a difference. I look at all that has been given to me and Im grateful for it all, family, friends, and life. I believe that no matter what GOD judges me on who I am and what I do, and I think I have made him proud

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I am a proud US ARMY veteran (Cco 2/3 INF). I wanted to do something to give back to my community. In total my family has almost a hundred years of fire experience, and it only seems natural for me to be a firefighter. I love helping those in need.
