Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Great story. In high school one of my football teammates got struck by lightning. 10 feet from me. I was captain of my team and yet I didn't know what to do. One of my other teammates was a volunteer firefighter at the local station. He wasted no time administering CPR and saved our fellow teammate's life. I said to myself, if there is ever another emergency in my life, I want to know what to do.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
There isn't any more noble calling that saving a life.
