Son of a career fireman. Joined the local VFD (Waco) as a junior member after my 16th birthday. Began training and pursuing certifications. Student at UNC Charlotte in the Fire Safety program. Scholarshiped by NC Firemen's and Rescue & EMS Associations. With desire to pursue a career in the fire service.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

My father is a fireman. I fell in love with the job soon after.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

People call us when they have a problem, we show up and fix it. 9 out of 10 times those are life-changing experiences for the victims. Firefighters save lives, often for no pay.
