Unless trees grow on ice, I'd say they are on the land....look to their left( your rt)

I agree, NO TURNOUT GEAR within 25' of the water. Also PFD's warn within 25' of the water. Thats our SOP on water call's. It looks like they are standing on the ice so I hope they were smart enough to put PFD's on under there Turnout coats.

Our GOG says you have to wear a pfd within 10' of ice or water. We get upto 5' (60")
of ice in the winter and still take precautions 'cause you don't get a second chance at -40

I hope the two in the back ground with turnout gear on are not on the ice. turnout gear and water = anchor
