On 08Nov2010, West End Fire Station 57 of Stowe, Montgomery County, Pa. was dispatched for a commercial building fire just across the border line from Pottstown, Pa. With in minutes of the arrival of the first units, several more alarms were activated, including a tanker task force from Montgomery County and Berks County. Over 30 fire departments responded in addition to the Montgomery County Fire Task Force and Command Center. Fire units from Montgomery, Berks and Chester Counties responded. Three tanker fill stations were set up to keep the numerous tankers running.
