Never gonna forget ya' Bill.. Died of an MI about eleven hours after a fire, witnessed by company members, CPR started with in seconds of arrest, not poor bystander CPR either. Ambo was there with in a couple minutes. Several shocks, perfect CPR on the screen, it looked positive, got my hopes up too high. Hell of a guy, more knowledge to share than you'd get out of a year of classes. Good friend, buddy. Only fireman-fireman, that would drive the ambo w/ out kissing their ass. Didn't even have to ask, he'd do it; always there, gifted pump operator.. and not too many people can get that perfect. I loved to listen to his old time stories, glad I had time to do that a week or two before. Don't realize how much the bond means till they're gone...and now I'm gonna cry again.
