I joined the department in the upstairs meeting room 42 yrs ago this month.............. my dad was the chief way back in the fifties and the siren used to be mounted on the roof of our house,so I've been around the service for long time.........

Security consisted of a hook and eye on the man door..............but it was near the top of the door "to keep the kids out"!!

Our '67 C-Ford Seagrave Engine is visible through the left door and I suspect our '51 Chevy tanker is in the right bay.!
