March 1, 2011: At 5 p.m., HAZMAT teams were dispatched to Essex Community College after a student at the institution spilled sulfuric acid on herself.

Though the woman had used a shower to wash some of the acid off before HAZMAT arrived, she still suffered severe burns to her hands and feet.
