It's been a hard day's night, and I've been working like a dog

2nd Alarm working structure fire on a 2 story SFD, Christmas night, fully involved upon arrival. Exposure problems on B, C and D sides. Immediate priority was protecting exposures. B side exposure, another SFD less than 10' away from main fire building, did catch fire, but was contained to the outer wall. Encountered 2 frozen hydrants, ended up laying over 1,000 feet of LDH and a couple hundred feet of 3" supply line with a pump relay. Multiple lines put into service, including 2 - 2 1/2 and 3 - 1 3/4, as well as two elevated master streams. Weather was a big factor, with temperatures below the freezing mark and winds gusting over 15 mph.
