Rochester Firefighters responded this morning for the report of a body in the Genesee River behind a church on Mt Hope Ave. Battalion 3 reported they checked the river and could not find anything. Later in the afternoon, a Coast Guard helicopter was checking the area and spotted something under some brush in the area of St. Paul Street. After another investigation, firefighters found a jacket. The incident is still under investigation by the Rochester Police Department.
