This fire was a defensive upon arrival. My main objective was to stop the forest fire that it had started and save nearby homes. not shown in the picture was three other engines drafting off the same porta tank with two tenders doing shuttles thus we never ran out of water plus there was a large ammunition cache inside the home with fuel and many other hazardous materials.

Alcohol was a factor in this fire we found a mountain of beer cans taller that the engines later during mop up

We daisy chained 3 engines for this fire, E-433 1000gpm to E-432 500gpm plus class A foam to Brush 423 300gpm  our static source was 1 mile away at Willow creek it worked  very well we never ran out of water but unfortunately to house was a total loss. This is where pre incident planning paid off.
