I agree with S Br, big water on the fire initially unless a report of a victim.  It's venting well so a straight stream isn't going to push much fire or smoke into the house.

Sorry-- should have added that the second handline has to do that search for life also

Standard 5 man engine. First line into the garage - one firefighter -- should be able to get a good knock on it unless there is a car in the garage then its 2 firefighters. Officer and firefighter second handline in the front door and get water on the first floor fire. I am sure there will be fire on the second floor hopefully there will be someone close to get the 3rd line to the second floor and someone can open the roof soon

This shot was taken moments after the arrival of the first-due quint. Both cars were in the garage and neighbors reported that an elderly gentleman might be inside. The hose team went interior to conduct a search. The second due engine arrived less than a minute later, and using a 2.5inch handline from the quint, addressed the garage. The search was negative--the old guy was safe at a neighbor's home.

I would like to see some water on the fire. Assuming this isn't a "known rescue" a deck gun or a 2 1/2 should be on the fire while crews search the interior.

Not good! My guess, from what I can see here is a "garage" fire. Good to see initial attack already in the front door. Hope no fatalities!!
