Buffalo Firefighters responded last night for a report of a structure fire on Strauss St. Engine 3 went on location stretching an attack line. B-44 reported a fully involved 2 1/2 story dwelling. Ladder 5 requested an ambulance to the scene for 1 victim. B-56 assumed command & requested additional equipment (Engines 33,32,1, & Ladder 6) to the scene to assist with water supply. defensive operations were ordered and tower ladders were set up while hand lines protected the exposure on the #4 side. The fire was under control in about 45 minutes.
