"Neville" is a 4ft male Eastern Brown Snake, 1 month after myself and Neville Plumb who he was name after sewed his near decapitated head back on. Only thing that held him together was his spinal column, trachea, throat oesophagus, veins & arterys. all muscle tissue together with dissolving sutures and both ends of defrocked skin sewn together with sterile cotton, he was release still with his stitches insitu a year later.
