My Buddy    Zach  rip  Badge  number  was  342 In the  Vollies   we   ran with   63   engine, he was a  Lieutenant  assigned  that   engine  and I often  drove  him ...   We  had a   fellow   who  grew up In a  small city  in CT  who was  assigned To  Rescue  3 in  the  FDNY   and  died  9-11-01  his   son was   basicly raised   In the  same   town   But  Lived   In the Bronx  and  Had  a  Bunch of   Big brothers...  eventually  Ryan   was  hired and  is on the Job  now  he is assigned  one  engine  Number  lower  and HE  wears   Zach's   Badge  Number   342  IT    astounds me the  relation ship   between   Numbers  and  also  Families  and  little   oddities  like that ,   Like  how  I  ended  up with the  last  3  numbers of  Dennis  Smiths'   5   digit     badge  number  11389

ok  then  how  about this one?  The  bottom  Helmet  FDNY  Engine  82 Badge 11389 has been suggested To be  Dennis  Smiths  Real helmet that  he would have  worn ,,,,
