Howard County, MD Multi-Alarm Apartment Fire -7/2/2009

A three alarm equivalent bringing units from Howard and Baltimore County burned the roof off an apartment building in Columbia Thursday afternoon, July 2nd. The fire appeared to start near or on a deck on the second floor and eventually spread through to the top floor.

looks like an exposure and overhaul nightmare (at least from a rural guys standpoint) . Nice Stop. No ladder truck had to hurt, but looks like the Class A foam helped . Surprised the upper floor is still able to be walked on after all that

From the eyewitness at the scene, a teenager was in the home alone when the fire started.
