16 firefighters from Sublimity Fire District participated in the training drill to learn how to fight grass fires.
Monarch Seed Farms donated the field for the training exercise and the controlled burn was previously approved by the Oregon Department of Agriculture. Heuberger Farms also assisted with training.

The exercise started at about 7 p.m.
