This is just one of many "Irish Firemans Derby" helmets I reproduced for an upcoming Mini-Series called "COPPER". It's about the day in the life of a beat cop walking the streets of New York in the 5 Points Section of Lower Manhattan during the Civil War. It is based in part on the Martin Scorcese' film "The Gangs of New York.  Complete with "Boss Tweed, Tammany Hall and lot's of fires! Due out in August on Public Television.
