Downtown Milton Fire

This is fire that happend in Jan. in the historic district of are small downtown. The buildings are right at a hundred years old. We were actually a week from the day that the town burnt down a hundred years ago. ( No thats not me on the truck.) From the start me and my company were asigned to protecting the one building which is still standing. That building is the Imogene Theater which has alot of meaning to this town. One of the are main challenges faced was there was a storm rolling in so we had sustained 30 to 40 mph wind. We had 15 dept from 2 countys and 115 firefighters. The blaze was brought under control in about 6 hrs. No firefighter were seriously hurt. I think we had 2 suffer from getting overheated. Thankfully that was all, so I'd say that this was a succefull operation.
