Cruise ship passengers injured

Norwegian Cruise Lines “Escape” arrives at Port Canaveral after several passengers were injured while at sea. The “Escape” encountered 115 mph winds after it sailed from New York on its way to Florida. The ship was undamaged and will continue to it next port of call. A MCI was issued and over fifteen emergency vehicles from Canaveral Fire Rescue, Brevard County Fire Rescue and Coastal Health Systems Ambulance entered the quay as the ship was being docked. Injured passengers were transported to local area hospitals for treatment and evaluation.
