City shuts off water as Hurricane Matthew arrives

The water to the barrier island town of Satellite Beach Florida is supplied from the mainland by the City of Melbourne Florida. To protect the water infrastructure the city shut off the water, this has never happened with other hurricanes. The Satellite Beach Fire department did an out standing job containing this fire and stopping it from spreading to other structures. A downed power line from the high winds is what is believed to have started the fire. The family had evacuated the home due to the advancing storm.
