Melbourne Beach Police Chief Dan Duncan gave an update to this Sunday 15 2017 incident. Duncan stated 'that the victim was transported to the intensive care unit at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne where she is "unresponsive." It is believed that the woman was caught in a rip current.
