I attended an IFSAC Fire Officer I course for a week in January, at the Washington State Patrol Fire Academy; located in the Cascade Mountains. I arrived to find the most snow I've ever seen at North Bend, and was on the receiving end of 6" per night for the entire time I was there. The positive part was that I got some good upper-body workout shoveling snow each morning.
