Automatic response on first alarm with Station 78, Dec 30th. Initially made an aggressive interior attack, 3 - 1 3/4 lines eventually put into service, but had to pull out and transition to defensive with a deck gun and elevated master stream for a few minutes, due to heavy fire throughout the attic, before continuing with interior. Extensive overhaul was conducted due to numerous hot spots in the 2nd floor ceiling and attic.
