Ladder 29 - 2009 Pierce Arrow XT 105' HD Aerial (#21769)
This apparatus was originally built as a stock ladder truck by Pierce. It was then used in Seasons 5 & 6 of the TV Show "Rescue Me" on FX. It was sold to IFD through Global and entered service on November 5, 2010 with approximately 4900 miles on it. Some of the graphics from the show remain including the FDNY striping and Fire logo, the Ladder 62 logo on the ladder board and a dedication to the names of four fictitious firefighters who lost their lives on 9/11. While a lot of people want to see this truck because of its unique history, the crews of Ladder Company 29 are simply glad to have a new, taller and more capable rig!
