Engine 2 arrived on location with a 4 story 100x300 building with heavy fire on the 1st floor, placed 2 and 2 in service. B/C 8 arrived and put the full box to work with heaviest waterlines then quickly requested the 2nd and 3rd Alarms due to heavy smoke showing from all floors and fire now showing from the 3rd Floor. Deputy 2 (Chief Bonner) arrived and struck the 4th alarm for additional pipeline companies as well as a Squrt. Car 1 reported Heavy fire and smoke throughout the 4 story vacant factory and requested the 5th Alarm for more pipelines and a Snorkel. Philadelphia Police have 1 perp in custody related to the fire. Fire placed under control at 0223hrs by Commissioner Ayers.
