Jim -- Unfortunately the answer is no. British-based Simon Industries (Simon Snorkel) purchased Ladder Towers Inc. from Mahlon Zimmerman in the late 1980's and the firm became known as Simon-LTI. Simon also purchased Duplex chassis at around the same time. Their hope was to introduce US fire apparatus technology to Europe and Asia. For some reason, LTI was unable to develop a ultra-high aerial (150ft - 46 metres) to compete with Metz abd Magirus.

In the late 1990's LTI was purchased by the newly reorganized American LaFrance as their aerial manufacturer. In this case, however, Wilmington Ladder-1 is all Pierce -- a 100ft - 30 metre TDA (Tractor Drawn Aerial).
