Unknown who took these photos (Emailled to me this week). Taken at a recent open cut coal mine fire here in Gippsland. I have heard the firefighters have had a lot of issues and health problems with CO2 fumes

Here in Pa. we have a coal mine that is under ground and that has been burning since the 80s maybe even later not really sure but they tried to put it out and cant. It has even closed the town.
