I CAN AGREEY I HAVE HEARD ABOUT THE STRUTS EXPLOSIONS AND YES IT WAS ON MY MIND AND THE EXZERSIZE WAS STOPED AT THAT TIME AND WAS TOLD TO THE JR. THE GUY WITH NO TRUN OUT GEAR WAS TOLD TO BACK OFF AND HE DID THE FIRE WAS KNOKED DOWN AND THEN WE OPENED THE HOOD . I BELIVE IN SAFE TRAINING AND SAFE SCENCES SO THANK YOU FOR YOUR POST.

Hi Gary, you've got some great photos on here but I can't help but be concerned about the safety issues in the photo of the Jr's tackling to hood latch of the burning car.
There's a guy amongst them with no PPE at all and then you've got crews standing in front of a burning vehicle. Have a bit of look around as there's been some great articles and presentations put togther about strut explosions and failures in car fires that have resulted in series FF inuries. Be safe in everything we do, including training!
